Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra with Manitou Winds

Platte Plains by J.T. McKinneyThe Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra and special guests Manitou Winds will perform three of J.T. McKinney’s works: The Old Ash Tree, Platte Plains (world premiere), and Ransom Lake (world premiere).

Jason is honored to share a program with Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No. 3 in C Minor, op. 78, and an exciting work by his Manitou Winds colleague, Laura Hood (Happy Feet).

Due to space limitations, there will be two performances on the same evening (4:00 & 7:00). More details to come — stay tuned for updates!

The Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which relies on donations and grants to serve the community. BASO’s suggested donations for admission are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors. Attendees 17 and under are always free.

COVID Safety Measures: The Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra follows guidelines established by the local public health officials at the Benzie-Leelanau Health Department. Concert guests should be prepared to maintain social distance and wear face coverings if these precautions are recommended by the local health department on the date of performance. Updates on current COVID protocols will be provided.
