Join Manitou Winds for a delightful evening of music, poetry, and spoken word.
Manitou Winds and special guest Thomas Bara, organ, will perform J.T. McKinney’s exciting work for wind quintet and organ Traveling Mercies.
The program also includes Avian Suite by Stacey J. Berk (b. 1970), Travel Notes 2 by Richard Rodney Bennett (1936-2012), and Swansea Town by Gordon Jacob (1895-1984).

The Benzie Area Symphony Orchestra and special guests Manitou Winds performed three of J.T. McKinney’s works: The Old Ash Tree, Platte Plains (world premiere), and Ransom Lake (world premiere).
Jason was honored to share a program with Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No. 3 in C Minor, op. 78, and an exciting work by his Manitou Winds colleague, Laura Hood (Happy Feet).
